The Sul Ross University Conservation Biology Club hosted a track and sign certification in West Texas on November 10, 2012.
We saw the tracks of 33 species, including 19 mammals, 8 birds, 2 herps, and 4 invertebrates! Some of the highlights were: amazing tracks of an impressive bobcat leap, perfect mountain lion tracks, and great horned owl tracks.
Thanks to Michael Stangl for arranging the workshop. Thanks also to Stacy Sirotnak for helping.
