West Texas Certification 10/20/2013
The Sul Ross University Conservation Biology Club hosted a track and sign certification in West Texas on October 20, 2013.
We saw the tracks of 36 species, including 22 mammals, 6 birds, 4 herps, and 3 invertebrates! Some of the highlights were: some perfect beaver tracks, pocket gopher tracks, and the imprint of a peccary laying in the mud.
Thanks to Michael Stangl for arranging the workshop. Thanks also to Nate Harvey for helping.
